Immunizations

Description
Immunizations are the safest and most effective public health tool available for preventing disease and death.  Public Health offers immunizations for children, adults, and for travel.

Drop-in Clinic on Fridays. 
Summer hours: 8am-1pm
Appointments are also available during the week Monday-Thursday. Please call to schedule.

The Drop-In Clinic at Public Health offers convenient access to a range of essential services. 

Immunizations for children and adults

Reproductive Health: birth control, pregnancy test, emergency contraception, pre-conception counseling

STD screening and treatments

TB screening

Titers for immunity to Hep B, Varicella, etc.

We accept private insurance and Medicaid. Childhood immunizations and reproductive health services are offered at a low to no-cost for those that qualify.

Childhood Immunizations
There is an administrative fee for each vaccine.  We accept Oregon Health Plan and private insurance.  Immunizations include required and recommended immunizations for children ages birth to 18 years old.

Vaccines for Children supplies free vaccines for children age 18 and under if they are:

Enrolled in Medicaid or the Oregon Health Plan or
Uninsured or
American Indian / Alaskan Native

Adult Immunizations
There is an administrative fee for each vaccine.  We accept the Oregon Health Plan and private insurance.

Immunizations include:

Hepatitis A series
Hepatitis B series
Td (Tetanus) and Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis)
Influenza and Pneumonia

Travel Immunizations
Traveling to another county can put you at great risk of certain infectious diseases.  Schedule travel immunizations ahead of time.  We provide travel consultations that include research of destination and vaccine recommendations, clinical visit, and administration of recommended vaccines and medications.  There is a fee for the office visit and for the cost of the vaccines and medications administered.  Travel immunizations are ONLY available at CHD and must be paid for at the time of your visit.
