Description
Center for Human Development, (CHD) a private non-profit agency located in beautiful Eastern Oregon is seeking a part-time to full-time Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide direct treatment services to clients with mental and emotional disturbances which includes consultation with primary care physicians, providing individual therapy, prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. This position will be a part of CHD’s existing team of child psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioners.

Qualifications
Graduation from accredited school of medicine and completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry or Graduation from accredited school of nursing and completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program in mental health/psychiatric nursing with prescriptive privileges.

Licensed by the State of Oregon Board of Medical Examiners to practice psychiatric medicine or Licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing to practice as an advanced practice nurse.

Board eligible for certification in Psychiatry or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Must have the X Waiver and experience with medication assisted treatment.

Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.

Demonstrated adherence to guidelines of professional ethics.

Computer literacy

Must pass criminal history background check and drug screening.
