IDD Program Coordinator

Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a full-time Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Program Coordinator to provide direct program coordination and oversight of designated services in the Intellectual/Developmental Disability Program areas.  This position provides caseload oversight and on-going consultation to service coordinators. Responsible for program development, serves as a liaison, and provides consultation, training, and technical assistance to the Intellectual/Developmental Disability team. Works under the general supervision of the Mental Health Director.

The Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in behavioral, social, health services, special education, public administration, or human service administration.

A minimum of four years of experience with at least two of those years of experience in intellectual / developmental disability services that includes program management, fiscal knowledge, and staff oversight.

Knowledge and skill of principles and practice of an intellectual/developmental disability.  

Ability to function in a team-based environment, effectively problem solve and resolve conflict, cooperatively engage  individuals and teams through coaching, mentoring, training and delegation, plan and evaluate intellectual / developmental disability services, and develop and implement policies and procedures.

Effective oral and written communication and effective working relationships with staff and community agency personnel.

Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s license and pass a criminal history check and drug screening.
