Description
Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a full-time Intake Specialist II. This position is responsible for performing a variety of client account maintenance and assessment of financial resources.  

The Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency.

Multitasking, strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, system thinker and customer service skills.

Ability to perform Public Health and Behavioral Health screenings.

Thorough knowledge of program eligibility such as vaccines for children, indigent funds, etc.

Work well in a team setting, and demonstrate assertive yet tactful communication skills in working with internal and external customers.

Must have the willingness to put the customer first in everything you do.

Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s license and pass a criminal history check and drug screening.

The Job Duties
Gathers information necessary to initiate records and services.

Customer contact daily.

Direct client to proper department for services needed.

Initial assessment of client financial status, program eligibility and negotiating payment plans when needed.

Insurance authorization and monitoring compliance.

Verifying insurance benefits to make sure clients have not exhausted their benefits.

Works closely with the Behavioral Health Team and Public Health Team to manage schedules.

Coordination of the MOTS and DUII systems with the state.
