Dual Diagnosis Therapist / MAT Services Coordinator

Description
Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a full-time Dual Diagnosis Therapist / MAT Services Coordinator to work with individuals who have a severe and persistent mental illness and substance abuse problems. Provides diagnostic assessment, treatment planning and completes necessary updates as required. In coordination with the prescribers, this position will provide overall coordination of medication assisted treatment (MAT).  This includes management of the State Opioid Response outcomes and funding implementation.

The Requirement
Master's degree in a social sciences field; state licensure or be willing to pursue licensure preferred.

Two years of relevant mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment.

Must meet requirements of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.

Certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor CADC 1 or higher, and experience in coordination of SUD and MAT services.

Knowledge of practices, principles and philosophy of mental health treatment, including motivational interviewing, assessment, treatment plans and diagnoses, and crisis counseling.

Be familiar with and adhere to ethics governing field/position.

Knowledge of computer basics.

Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices, and to attend required meeting and/or trainings. 

Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS  181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200-407-007-0370 and drug screening.
