Description
Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health QA/QI Coordinator to oversee the quality assurance of behavioral health services and programming. Leads quality improvement projects for the behavioral health team. Works under the general supervision of the Mental Health Director. Provides consultation, training, and technical assistance to behavioral health teams regarding ongoing continuous improvement processes.  This position is appointed by the Admin Council. 

The Requirements
LCSW preferred, Master's degree in a social sciences field required.

Three years’ experience in a comparable position dedicated to quality/ health improvement in a coordinated care/managed care organization or provider group or governmental agency or similar setting preferred.

Previous practice experience in a clinical setting

Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass all criminal history check requirements and drug screenings.

Ability to function in a team-based environment.

Ability to manage individuals and teams through coaching, mentoring, training and delegation.

Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.

Effective oral and written communication.

Essential Duties
Leads effort by behavioral health team to identify and set annual goals for quality improvement of services with a focus an improved clinical outcomes.

Works with clinical supervisors to hold staff accountable for performance measures including, but not limited to: operational and delivery of service standardization, productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, best practices in documentation, compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory and funding authorities, etc.

Works closely with Compliance Coordinator and behavioral health team to ensure timely and accurate submission of all reports required by state, CCO and funding authorities. This includes monitoring and assisting with submissions of monthly and quarterly state and CCO reports completed by other staff.

Along with Clinical Supervisors, acts as a liaison to Administrative Council providing clinical knowledge and expertise regarding QA/QI for behavioral health services.

Monitors licensure/certification requirements for all behavioral health services.

Other Duties as assigned.
