Behavioral Health Coordinator of Special Projects

Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Coordinator of Special Projects to coordinate, develop, and sustain special projects and grants programs in behavioral health as assigned by the Mental Health Director. Typically these projects are related to newly implemented grants and contract funded programs. Some projects may be ongoing and others may be time limited. This position builds rapport with community partners, and works independently and within a self-directed team environment. Works on agency committees and cross-team committees as a representative of the BHT team and sits on community and interagency committees as a representative of CHD.

The Requirements
Master’s degree in a related field or MSW preferred.

Three years of behavioral health experience in a comparable position dedicated to program development implementation, and grants management in a managed care organization or behavioral health agency or similar setting preferred. 

Previous practice experience in a behavioral health clinical setting. 

Knowledge and skill of principles and practice of a specific professional health field.

Ability to function in a team-based environment.

Ability to effectively problem solve and resolve conflict.

Ability to manage individuals and teams through coaching, mentoring, training and delegation.

Ability to plan and evaluate health services.

Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.

Effective oral and written communication.

Effective working relationships with department staff and community agency personnel.

Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s license and pass a criminal history check and drug screening.
